And in the end, we were all just humans drunk on the idea that love, only love, could heal our brokenness.

New Dunkirk fic coming soon!

thedunkirkgang:

Hey Guys! Its me, Lex (@lexilulove) and Adrienne ( @adriennelenoir). We started writing a fic together at the end of December and we are about ready to start posting! Its called “The Gang” and features two original characters, Jack, and Ni. The rest of the Dunkirk boys play into the story as secondary characters. We are super excited to share this with you! We have so much planned, it is gonna be a multi-chapter story with shorter blurbs in between the longer chapters. We have a lot of fluff, comedy, and some pretty great angst. We are in this for the long haul, friends! We have the first 6 chapters written, and its already 34 pages long, with at least another 10-15 chapters planned.

Just introduced a kid to her adoptive parents. They brought her a dozen roses. We met at a restaurant. I arrived early to get a private booth and told the waitstaff what was up. So all the servers were having a cry in the corner. I’m at a coffee shop a few miles away, giving them space and having my own cry.

Adoptive mom clarified to me later: roses were pink because pink means forever.

What’s more important than the roses, though, is they also brought her a luggage set so she wouldn’t be moving her things in garbage bags. The luggage matches theirs, cause it’s family luggage for family trips.

And now the rest of us are crying too
